I had a right total hip replacement three years ago in the Uk and was an active member of this forum throughout the whole journey. We moved to Spain just over two years ago and i knew that sooner or later the other hip would have to be done too!
SO …here I am 2 days after my Spanish THR and what a different experience! Anyone else on here in the Spanish Health System care to compare notes?.

I’ve not had my hip done in Spain but know some who has, at Torrevieja, and he ended up with a leg quite a bit shorter than the other. I suppose like everywhere, one has to do some research on the hospital and consultant.
Where did you have yours done in Spain? And why was it different to your op in UK?
I know the hospital in Torrevieja has a good reputation for most things and is very clean.
