I had right hip replacement 6 months ago and now I have a lump under the hip why

sudden?

painful, mobile, ?

muscular, scar tissue?

is your hip functioning OK

get an appointment with physio, nurse, or GP

Is it muscle that has not been  reattached? That happened to me in op in April.

Is it big and solid or does it move up and down when you press it?

I reckon you ought to make an appointment to see a GP as soon as possible

Been for a nap.

Sounds like mine was. Not painful? Mine was like a bulge and looked ugly. Since my THR the surgeon (a better one) has put it right as a matter of course. Don't worry, it can be fixed in thst case.

I don;t like the sound of having a lump anywhere and I agree with others to have it checked - it is probably nothing to worry about ....
