Hip replacement

I'm14 weeks po and still in severe pain. Tried ice but it hurts even more. Now I'm getting a popping feeling in the hip joint. Can't put pressure on it.limping around worse now than before my surgery. Any comments. Please.

Very sorry to hear about your pain and that you are not improving. I would make an appointment to see your surgeon ASAP as obviously something is not right and the sooner that you are seen the better. Out of interest what approach was used for the surgery? I'm not a doctor BTW!

Call your surgeon and insist on being seen. This is not normal.

Important to speak to your surgeon about this. When my surgeon saw the slow healing of part of the surgical wound, he asked me to return to his office for a week after that. I've continued to do that and he checks on it.

Make sure you give the surgeon as much info as possible. I usually write down anything I want to discuss prior to seeing my surgeon.

Hope this all works out for you. It is a process when sometimes you go "one step forward and more than one step backwards (figuratively)"
