Hi to all the hippies out there, I have my pre opp next week for my right thr, I have been getting some oedema in my left ankle for a week but my gp says it's not a dvt, now I have soreness in the back of my right calf, it's not a pain or even an ache so to speak, just very uncomfortable, more like a slight srain or sore muscle after a long walk or something, anyway I was wondering if anyone else had got this in their non operated hip? I have been doing a lot more than usual lately even though my right hip is really painful, I just felt I needed to do more than sit in the chair all day, I had my last opp in nov. last year so I'm hoping this one will be as sucessfull,

good morning Lynne ... It sounds like you might have over done it a bit --- perhaps mis stepped or something and twisted your ankle slightly? good that you had it checked and happy for you that your op date is coming closer ... I know how you feel about doing more than just sitting in a chair .... big sigh ... take it easy though and keep in touch ... big hug

Hi Lynne -- checking in with you and how you are feeling today ... hope you had a good night sleep - don't want to be pessimistic here but this will be some kind of a pattern in the coming months - and hey, you aleady know right?  you are in very good company here on this wonderful forum - I swear, if not for you guys,  I don't know where an how I would be - where can we go with our stories and worries and share our victories with?   have a great weekend and know that all is well - warm hug
