So I had some very minor head trauma hitting my supraorbital margin region of the frontal bone against a sink pretty hard this evening. I had some immediate and severe swelling up to at least a half an inch off my medial temporal region. Clouded my vision. But it recessed within about five minutes and it just bled all over. The gash itself was not wide, but probably deep enough for a stitch. Was the immediate swelling a result of the bleeding? Did I likely burst a blood vessel? I tried to do some research just to see what exactly happened, but not having any luck.
