J'ai frappé mon ongle en acrylique, ce qui a provoqué un soulèvement de mon ongle naturel et je pense que cela a poussé la matrice de l'ongle contre la peau.

hi
I did the same thing 10 days ago, i ran the finger under warm water, pushed the exposed nail back into the cuticle. I secured the nail by putting surgical tape in thin strips around the nail bed and where the nail met the acrylic. I did not remove the nail, or the acrylic. I cleaned it daily with anti-septic wound spray and gently changed the tape if it got wet. It needs to be tight but not enough to prevent blood flow obviously.
The nail was wobbly when touched for about 7 days, but its solid again now,
good luck xxx

Update
nail came off today painlessly. Completely healed underneath as you can see.

this happened to me!! exactly the same.. did your nail come back by any chance? File size is too big

this happened to me! by any chance did your nail come back?? File size is too big

Does any girl have any updates on how long did it take for nails to grown back?

it took mine about 2 months. accident happened 9/22/19 and my nail was grown back by Thanksgiving. I took biotin to help it grow faster.

This happened to me yesterday. Although, I am not sure if mine is similar or worse. I stubbed it against my carpet attempting to pick up laundry from the floor. Initially I had thought I had bumped it causing the too to lift but after careful examination I realized my whole nail had lifted from the nail bed. Its still attached at the cutical. I ran it under cold water, poured alcohol on it and I now have it bandaged. Plasma keep coming out from under it so I am thinking I may need to go to the doctors. I am not really sure how to handle it.

i left the nail and acrylic in place, put thin strips of medical tape to secure it. The nail stayed on for about 2 weeks before it grew off. I found it was painless and no opportunity for infection. Used an anti-septic spray xxx

you hit it badly, but not worse then the rest of us girls, thank god!
i hit one of mine badly like the first picture so it went past my cuticle and it’s been two months and the nail completely fell out but the new one is growing, looks quite ok, the nails is thin.. the other nail I hit looked like yours, I taped it down so the lifting doesn’t go any further. The nail is growing a bit slower than usually but you see where it’s holding and where it is still lifted.
I recommend taping it down until is grows out fully.

did your nail ever grow back what did you end up doing to it did u leave it alone, same just happened to me please help

it grew back in about 2 months. I took biotin and prenatals to help nail growth.

This happened to me this evening while washing up a bowl fell and caught my nail and now my acrylic nail and my natural nail has lifted off my nail bed and looks as though my nail has gone into my skin above my cuticle to the side of my little finger. Have put antiseptic and bandaged up, will I need to go to hospital?

This happened to my little nail this evening and my whole nail has come away from my nail bed but is still attached looks like my nail has gone into my skin above my cuticle. Little worried as too painful to remove will it fall off by itself? or do I need to visit hospital.

you can go to the doctor, but do not let them pull it off, since it will last even longer for nail to grow back.
if your nail pushed trough the cuticle try putting it back in, press the nail down and plaster it down with tape. micropore tape is the best if you ask me.
it will fall of by itself and by the time this happens you will see the new nail has grown under it.
it’s painful for the first week or two, then it doesn’t hurt, but have it taped anyway.

if you can push the nail back under the cuticle and using medical tape, secure it. Use anti-septic wipes or spray to keep it clean. The nail will grow off without exposing the bed.

hi so last night i just hit my nail on my vanity And im pretty that my real nail isnt connected anymore because there was so much blood buy i cant rip it off because it is attached at the cuticle because i had just gotten my nails done 2 days ago. i tried to use acetone but it burned way too much. do i need to go to the er to get the bail removed ? i dont think i can properly tend to the nail with the acrylic nail on it

the same thing happened to my nail it hurts so much. theres clear ish yellow liquid leaking out from under it and with this whole pandemic going on i dont wanna go to the hospital

you’ll be okay. Keep it dry and clean, I kept a bandaid on it until it got to a point that it’d fall off. I clipped the nail once it healed. It 2 months.

UPDATE: I didn’t need to go to the doctors. I kept it dry and clean. It was bandaged for 3 weeks because I wanted to wait until it was fully healed. I clipped the nail and it took 2 months to grow out. I now have a new set.

Side Note: I took prenatals throughout the growth period.

I also used an antiseptic spray on it
