Hello, I recently went out on New Years Eve with my brother and a few friends at a local nightclub. Years ago i felt out with a former friend called Sydney one i grew up with. Unfortunately he's now turnt into a drug abuser and a bit of a mess. We fell out over my fears of his behaviour and risky drug abuse, i even at one point accused him of possibly infecting me years ago and a friendship from then on was broken. Over the years he's never forgiven me and we've constantly come to blows over things. There was a point last year where he was trying to call me but i ignored him as it always ends up in trouble. He can't move on with his life, he seems envious of me and he mixes with bad people. We went are ways you could say. Well on New Years he still has ties to an old mate of mine who came back for the weekend and so happened to be out with them on the night so when we talked on the phone my old troubled friend new i was out and where to. My mate that was back asked me if i wanted to meet up with them but i said no as your with Sydney and i don't want to be around him so i put the phone down. About ten minutes later i get a call of Sydney using my other mates phone and he says have you got a problem with me. I said no i just don't want to be around you and hung up again. It all seemed a bit odd and pre-planned. So i continued the night and ended up in the nightclub not really thinking about it. Later on Sydney and two odd looking guys turn up in the club by that point i was drunk. We didn't talked but i did feel uncomfortable. The next thing i know I'm at the bar and he's doing something behind me and ends up bumping into me forcefully which results in him getting kicked out swiftly. I didn't notice fully what he had done or what had gone on. The next morning i wake up with swollen lymph nodes on left hand side of my neck and really painful neck. Following day i noticed a lump on my left hand side shoulder with a distinctive dot in middle of lump. Both swollen lymph nodes and lump on left hand side of body the same side i was facing when he was lurking behind me in amongst the crowd. I'm worried that he purposely needlestick injured me with it all being pre-planned and with me having a foggy memory through most of night i am slightly worried that he sought out revenge that night leaving me in this situation. I didn't see any blood morning in neck but didn't extensively check, would there be noticeable blood? and would a needlestick injury cause a raised bump? Thanks in advance Ben

It’s hard to say. Sorry you had to be put in the middle.
But if it does not get better go to the doctor and get checked. You are wise not to talk to him but you should have maybe left when he showed up.

very rare chance from needle like 0.01 %. dint worry you will be fine. U CAN ALWAYS CHECK WITH DOCTOR .
