i am terrified i was with someone back in june just once and he only put his penis in a few times and i stopped him. at the beginning of august i started getting scared and feeling weird thinking about the situation and started getting tingling sensations in my legs (idk if that was my nerves getting bad or what) but i am totally scared i thought i had herpes at first..turns out i didnt then i started thinking it could be hiv. i asked him if he was std free before anything happend and he said yes(i know thats db of me to trust someone like that ) im worried because i stared having bad anxiety and then i started noticing all these symptoms like fatigue loss of apetite and some weight loss and headache here and there. i told the guy and he said he feels fine and is hiv negative. he went to get tested again 7 weeks after and was negative. i was tested twice once 4 weeks after and another time 6 weeks after both negative im still worried idk what to donor think ive just been depressed about the whole thing. i need HELPPP idk what to think or do. are these sympyoms associated with HIV
hello hiv comes in stages these are some of the first things u may notice in the acute stage
Body rash
Fever
Sore throat
Severe headaches
Swollen lymph nodes
Nausea
Fatigue
Ulcers in the mouth
Vaginal infections, like yeast infections and bacterial vaginosis
Night sweats
Vomiting
Muscle aches and joint pain
in the next stage which is the Asymptomatic stage of HIV
Upon the aforementioned symptoms disappearing is when the asymptomatic period of HIV begins. During this stage, an individual with HIV does not exhibit any signs or symptoms of infection. HIV may not cause any more symptoms for months or years, but at this point the virus is still replicating and is starting to break down the body’s immune system by attacking important immune cells. and there is the advanced stage… Without treatment, it may take a matter of months or years for HIV to weaken the immune system beyond repair. This progression of HIV is referred to as AIDS, or Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome. This last stage of of an HIV infection means that the body’s immune system is severely damaged, leaving it more susceptible to other infections that it would otherwise be able to fight off if it were not compromised and damaged. It is not uncommon for individuals with AIDS to frequently get colds, flus or fungal infections.
u can take a test as early as 4 weeks after for some people it can take up to three months for detectable antibodies to develop u may need to retest
if you think you got it from him and he got tested and came back negative theres no way you have it ! it wouldnt show up in you if it doesnt even show in him im 100% sure yoy two are negative. hiv will not transmit to you from someone who isnt showing up as positive. youre fine stop wasting time being depressed lol ive done this twice and i wish i didnt because those sad lonely gloomy days could gave been filled with joy. and plus he tested negative at 7 weeks?! youre Absolutely negative
