I have been offered private operation on 20/6/2014 and have a prebooked holiday 18/7/2014 and worried I won't be healed enough to go,has anyone else flown this sort of time after surgery. I'm sure it will be great for recovery once there just a little worried if it's too soon

Hi Tracy Yes your be okay for holiday due to the dates as long as you don't overload that hand,takes about 6 weeks total time till all back to normal .Had mine done 3 to 4 years ago .Louise on site gets hers done in May.Lots have it done Tracy,relief once done id tell anyone to go ahead with op. Let's know how you go on when it's done .

i had CT release op. on 9th April and flew out to Dubai on 19th.
No problems and now at 5 weeks still a bit tender but free from that awful pain in the night. I am now sleeping through each night without any tingling or pain. I would recommend the operation. I had open surgery.
