Good evening friends

Has anyone got any experience, advice on Sun on tkr 2

Months on going 2 Dubai , I am normally tanned but worried with scar ?

Any help ?

Possibly buy a sun block for your knee area. I got one from Amazon Robert.

I used a total sun block on my scar whilst on holiday , have a good time

I bought Neutrogena 70 SPF stick off Amazon when I went on holiday to Cyprus, apply straight to scar then apply your normal sunscreen on top of it, it worked a treat.

Yip...i agree with the total sun block. Enjoy!!

I also went away at a similar time, used sun tan lotion and bio oil I had no problem. I do tan easily

Just use a good suntan lotion. My Dr's always said don't spend any money on anything over a 30 as there isn't any benefit. Just to keep it soaked and of course nothing at all if it hasn't healed completely as far as drainage and open wounds.

Hi I used P20 / 50 factor ( an all day protector) and your normal suncream every few hours

Hi Rob,

My dermatologist told me to always make sure to use sunscreen on any scars as that tissue is already compromised, and more likely to be damaged by the sun. Have a great trip!

Not sure where you are  but  have you heard of a  product called Bio Oil ? If it very good  at reducing scarring. Plus also if you have a lady in your life  a lot of women also use it as a night cream ! It really is a great product & can usually be found in what we call chemist shops or pharmacies in Australia but called Drug stores in USA.Hope you can manage to get your hands on some.

PS - I have also heard of  young Mum's using it to reduce stretch  marks after having a baby.
