To all on this forum. Wishing you the best today. How ever you celebrate, or don’t. If I had the power, I would give us all relief from this horrible syndrome. Be that as it may, enjoy the time with your families or your solitude.
Jim, that’s my wish also. Hopefully your symptom free today and enjoy your family’s. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Let’s hope 2018 more and more people understand what we suffer.
Same to you and to all my friends in this group. Someone asked me " what do you wish for " and I said " to heal and provide comfort to me and my friends with MD; as we know what we're going through and understand eachother". Take care and hope my prayers are answered!!!!
Thank you Jim! Wishing you & all a lovely Christmas and new year. Unfortunately I’m spending this holiday in bed cuz I’m dizzy but hopefully next year this won’t be the case. All the best. I’m gonna miss alcohol
I wish all of you a good Christmas day and I agree with everything everyone has said. I’m so thankful for all of you on this forum because you all are such a comfort to me. No one else can begin to understand what this is like but I know there are people out there that do understand. Thank you for all the advice and help. God bless us all!
I indulged in the whiskey and good food yesterday; had a great time with the family.
I have learnt a lot through this forum and its always nice to know that there is someone "out there" so to speak. My ear is singing a soprano this morning, but it is a beautiful morning and "enjoying the song".
Today is another festivity and although armed with a "pharmacy", nothing is going to get in the way of enjoying the festive season.
If you are alone or feeling lonely over this time and having a tough time with MD, I pray that God will give you the serenity of the feeling of happiness and contentment. If He is a bit busy over this time, just drop a line to this forum and I am sure this "family" will help you feel loved.
We often take for granted all that we have over this period; wine, food and family and forget that there might be someone who is feeling lonely - so whilst we do not have wands, I personally would like to make the lonely feel less lonely; am sure that there are many in this forum that would help that cause!
Sorry to hear that! I have a loving family who doted on me especially since I’m still on a lot of restrictions from my 2 surgeries. I just kicked back in my recliner watched our favorite shows with my Princess 4 yo granddaughter. She is so concerned for her Grammy. It breaks my heart that she knows I’m ill. I pray that everyone who is suffering with this awful disease finds the right treatment, gets the best of care and has a supportive family. Hope you are doing better today.
Hi Christina, I'm in the same boat as you and you're not sailing alone:-) My holidays so far have been in bed as dizziness is continuing. Don't worry, we'll get better and be able to party next year for sure:-)
Thank you both ❤️ Willow that sounds lovely, it’s great that your family are being so loving. It’s been so hard to not get depressed from all the alienation this year. Not going out with friends, not eating with family around the table. It’s amazing that a few months ago I was living a normal life! Thanks for all of the kindness you’re sending my way and I pray we all get the right treatment in the coming months. Reena, we’ll get through this year and make up for it next!
