I will try and be brief!
- last 6 months being suffering constant lightheadness, headache and severe fatigue which has really impacted my ability to work or function properly (just don't have energy to think or do).
- Eventually seen consultants. One ENT and one neurologist. I have also had two sets of blood tests testing multiple things. Both consultants and my GP belive that the symptoms I am suffering are psychological and due to stress and anxiety. Treatment recommended is relaxtion and plenty of water I kid you not!
- I've suffered crippling depression and anxiety all my adult life (say 30 years) and been on medication for nearly 15 years. I have also had a drinking problem all my life too. I have therefore learned through bitter experience
- so last 12 months I have managed to quit booze, get myself fit, I'm in the final stages of weening myself off the anti depressants, radically simplified my life style and moved away from a stressful business and feel good as I get regular exercise and lots of love from my family. I have genuingly managed to learn to cope with my anxiety and I am a much more relaxed philosophical person.
Why now therefore is the obvious question. Why not when I have been truly anxious and depressed and at the point where I couldn't cope?
So my question is this:
- has anybody else experienced lightheadness (swaying rather than spinning), headaches and fatigue all at the same time and beleive it was due to anxity & stress?
- if so where those symptoms constant (I've had them constantly every day for 6 months day or night it makes no difference) or do they just appear during particularly bad spells of anxiety or stress?
- has anyone else been in the eaxct same position as me and had this diagnosis when they are convinced it is caused by something else?
Sorry i ahve tried to be brief and I really hope someone can help.
Thanks
Haaz
