Hormone App

Hello ladies!

I wanted to give you all a little info on an app that I use that has helped me figure out why I may be feeling what i feel from time to time. It's called "Hormone Horoscope" and it predicts what you may be feeling given what day of the month you are on in your cycle. It is available on Android phones and i phones. Let me know what you think.

I've also got this app. It's on the ball to be honest but it's very much geared towards young women with normal cycles. Very informative though x

Will have a look hun

                thanks

Just took a look at it.

It sounds great if you have pretty regular cycles. I don't have cycles any longer and my last 2 yrs were soooo unpredictable, I wonder if that would have worked. Glad it's helping you and taking some of the guesswork out!

Will check it out thank you. 😊

Yes I thought about that after I posted this that only applies if you still have regular periods.

You can set it to your own personal cycle but if you're a bit erratic it might be difficult. I have used it this month and so far it's been bang on so I reckon I'm in for a 28 day cycle. I still get my periods between 28 and 33 days, however last month it was 21. Go figure '!! Lol. Its just all the peri symptoms I suffer with particularly from ovulation onwards that I wanted to get a view of, it did state stuff like dizziness and irritability could be experienced so it is pretty useful. X

Yeah I was feeling very anxious today and when I checked it said that on day 8 of your cycle estrogen levels are really high and can cause anxiety. It was spot on with what I was feeling because I am on day 8 and was feeling quite a bit of anxiety.

I found the book "The Fifth Decade" by Deborah R Wagner very informative and the book "A Strange Period" by Sheryl Gurrentz and Cindy Singer is awesome too.

Thanks! I will look into this.

Ahhh...love the book "A Strange Period". When things first started going insane for me, I carried that book around everywhere I went, constantly jumping to chapters that applied!

So well written and actual experiences of other women with humour. I forgot about that book until you now mentioned.

A must have for those in the beginning phases!

I will look into it. Thanks Annie!
