My vagina let alone look.I will not be doing that that's for sure.I have my cranberry

Tablets so invade I have a uti,I'm preventing by drinking apple cider vinegar, with honey and warm water.

I intend to rest rest and rest.matron I was told that I have to wear the stockings

For 2 weeksπŸ˜• is that true. I intend to moved around every hour and stretch my legs.

Good to hear you home and everything OK welshgirl! ☺☺☺

Welcome back welshgirl and it sounds as though everything has gone to plan. If you were told to wear the stockings for 2 weeks then that's what you must do.

So now it's resting and absolutely no lifting 😘😘

I peed every hour for a few days! I can go a long time between now. Glad all went well! Xx

Yes matron I will..am I allowed out at all or do I have to stay in.I am peeing a lot matron, it feels irritated. Is that normal.😘😘😘😘

Thank you so much hun and all your lovely ladies, who care. Lots of love😘😘😘

Good to hear you are doing well. Take it easy (those support stockings are very glamorous!) 🌷

Hiya, welcome home x

sounds like everything went well for you, peeing etc was same for me. Without wanting to put a downer on things just be prepared for a few emotional days post op, it took me by surprise but after finding this wonderful forum I realised it was quite normal. I also had to wear stockings for 2 weeks, I did, however, remove them when I was up and moving during  the day, kept them on for bed and nap times.

Wishing you a speedy recovery x

I wouldn't go out just yet mainly because you've had an anaesthetic. Wait until the weekend and see how you feel but where do you want to go? Not shopping I hope. You will feel tired for the first week at least and remember what I say, listen to your body and never push yourself. It's normal to have that feeling when you pee because of the catheter. Just keep drinking plenty xx

Look out your favourite films and send someone to the Library to find lots of books by your favourite author. Try keep yourself busy, and time will go a little quicker.

I don't intend to go out out for a few weeks. Just to get out of house the weekend down to the sea.we park up and take a flask.I won't even get out😁i do feel a bit frazzled and tired.walking round the house every hour.my husband will look after me ,he is marvellous.😘😘

πŸ’•πŸ’•πŸ’•πŸ’•

That will be ok but you probably won't feel like walking around but just to get out of the house will make you feel a bit brighter πŸ˜˜πŸ˜‚

No matron, I don't have the energy,I'm frazzled. Looking at the sea is therapy for me.I love looking at it.πŸ’žπŸ’ž

Any tips on avoiding infection? Showers OK with warm water no soap in the area though. Xx

There's no reason as to why you should get an infection because you haven't got a wound on the outer part of your body. Showers are fine xx

I'm drinking lots to flush out, doesn't sting just a bit scratchy.didn't like the catheter, but it didn't really hurt.

Your so lucky , I love the sea, and it's so soothing and relaxing!
