so im currently having a bad anxiety attack and don't know what to do..... It started out with hyperventilating now im so lightheaded that i stumble when i walk. i can't seem to do anything to distract myself bc i keep concentrating on the anxiety. i slo started feeling very hot

So sorry your going through this. I can totally relate. Interestingly, I have anxiety about having anxiety... Wild huh! It can spiral me into a very bad state. Thus I have been working on my mindfulness techniques to help with this. I believe that part of my coping/recovery requires me to have a better understanding and control over my thoughts. Its like training any other muscle on your body. Maybe some mindfulness and meditation techniques might comfort you too.
Count you must count. Stop every thing you are doing, sit down in a comfortable position and breath in for 5 seconds and out for 5 seconds. Keep doing this until your breathing regulates. I do it myself. I dont breath properly. I constantly take short shallow breaths. Thats why im probably always feeling dizzy. Tell yourself you are fine, prove to yourself its nothing life threatening its just your anxiety playing tricks on you xx
