Hello, i'm having hot flashes on the hour, sweaty and I can't seen to tolerate much heat.
High fsh results of 96..don't understand what's happening to me. I'm fairly healthy, don't smoke/drink, eat 80% wholesome. I'm waiting to see an endocrinologist soon. Anyone with these symptoms? Could it be Early menopause?
Hi Sarah with a high fsh sounds as if you're going into early perimenopause. Most women inherit what their mother's went through. So check with your mom, if she went through it at an early age chances are high you too would go into it early. If not your mom, your grandmother, or your aunts. I have a friend who went into early just like you, she was started on low dose birth control pills and has been fine since. It maybe a good idea to discuss it with your gynecologist as opposed to your endocrinologist. The gynecologist will know what to give you. Not sure where you're at but in the States we see gynecologists for these types of issues. Best of luck hope you find relief soon!
Hi Sarah I'm 36 and going through the same as you, I had hot flushes but that's passed a bit now, I've got a script for Elleste 1mg which I'm yet to start taking but feel like it is time for me to start taking it speak to your doctor and see what they recommend for you X it's nice to know I'm not the only one this age going through this xx
