I was very drunk 6 years back and cant remember any details of one night but i went home with a girl but have no memory of what we did, 2 weeks later when i was masturbating i sort of hurt myself. this formed something like a real carpet burn which formed a skin, now as im about to get married i started reading about stds and am worried it might have been syphilis or a chancre. i took all tests and tested negative for chlamydia , vdrl , herpes, hiv and hepetitis. and there is no puss in my urine. if there is no puss in urine does that exclude gonorrhea as well? i also read that syphilis vdrl mighrt not be acurate if your in late stage. i havent had any symptoms since the chancre healed and my sperm analysis is fine but still im worried. can someone advise me if i need to take any further tests ?
Hey,
Glad you are taking care of your sexual health.
Based on what you said, it was 6 years ago so you should be totally no problem to do a test anytime you want, as long as you do not have any sex behaviors in the last past month. It is just to make sure all of the results are accurate.
The VDRL test you had confirmed that you don’t have syphilis, so there is no need to keep worrying about it.
The tests you did are very good, if there is anything left, i would like to say you could do another gonorrhea test. With puss or without puss inside of your urine, the only way is to do a test, but i am not worried about it.
Hope it helps and all the best.
Regards,
Hugo
