Water in Cyprus and in south Oxfordshire cause me to have IBS like symptoms but I do not have IBS my doctor is baffled, has anyone else got this problem and is there anything I can do about it, I spend a fortune on bottled water
Perhaps fluoride in water can cause these symptoms. Unfortunately water filters do not remove it and they are pretty expensive too. Some even avoid touthpaste with fluoride.
Thanks sweetie, if it's fluoride then there is no hope, I have not used toothpaste for many years and at age 70 I still have my own teeth ! I bought a filter but that is no good either, do you know of others who have this problem people think I am peculiar
My nephew survived severe fluoride poisining. But that is an extreme case. There is quite a bit of research on fluoride and IBS symptoms. This testimonial is from someone in Oxfordshire. Interestingly he mentions at the end of the page that tamarind available from Indian grocers can help eliminate fluoride from the body.
