How is everyone today?

Hi,

Not been on for a while as been trying to move on as started to feel better.

Made me realise that, yes it's good to move on when you feel better but it's also important to remember where you have been.

I have been through some bad times with my anxiety and citalopram journey. Still not out or the woods but I can definitely see an improvement.

The journey teaches you skills for coping with life, helps you recognise the bad days but value the good.

To anyone suffering, things do get better. It may take time and seem like forever but it not. You reach the other side stronger than you ever thought you were.

Good luck everyone xx

Yes I 100% agree. I was on 10 mg for 8 months. Afraid to increase to 20 my knowing I needed to and my doctor also agreed. But I was so afraid. I am now going on 12 weeks of 20 mg and i am so glad it took that step. Thing are so much easier to handle now. Things that usually would

Give me anxiety slide right off. My intrusive thoughts are gone and I'm enjoying life. I did gain a little weight but that's because my appetite got back to normal and I was eating everything in sight. I am now watching what I'm eating and the weight is coming off.... for everyone just starting citalopram, there is a light at the end of the tunnel❤️

Same here! I'm on week 10 or 11 (I've lost track) but wow what an improvement. Ido t go on here much but like to offer encouragement to people starting off. Its hard to believe you will get better but you do x

I posted a feed called Succesful on Citalopram for the same reason and to encourage/ aid others going through the same dilemna

was harder this time round than in 2013

i was on it 6 months then and took a year to get off it

back on again jan 17   I knew the journey would be hard but it does get better

.....100% better
