Hi Ladies, a good old fashioned rant today... thank you in advance for listening! How is it possible to be too hot and too cold at the same time?!? I don't know, but I'm doing it right now. How is it possible to have both too much and too little stomach acid at the same time?!? I don't know, but I've managed it somehow! How is it possible to be living and eating the cleanest I've ever done, and feel even worse than when I was eating junk, not exercising, and working too much? The digestive issues are toooo much! I don't know, but I've managed it somehow! How is it possible to be too exhausted to function, yet not be able to sleep more than 2 hours at night?! It's crazy-making! Anyone relate? Trying to find a few minutes' comfort... Sara
Hi Sara, My answer to your question is I don't know 😂 but here we are dealing with all this rubbish and honestly, I don't like it. I have been dealing with gastric issues as well and not sure what to eat at the moment. Can't eat chocolate anymore which sucks! Got to do a stool sample, how delightful 🙄 Keep getting headaches and feel off balance which is debilitating. Wake up feeling anxious, this comes and goes. Some days I just want to cry but don't really know why. I'm tired but don't want to go to bed, have vivid horrible dreams sometimes too. My cycle is all over the place and only have light bleeding. One thing for sure is I'm done in with it all right now and this is just some of what I'm trying to cope with. Have to tried anything to help with your symptoms?
It's so good to rant isn't it. Just know you aren't alone and we are here to listen.
Take care, Finkyb
its madness isnt it, im hating the pollen, never in my life had allergies, can barely breath, everything hurts, allergic to so many foods, just want a rest from all this, sending hugs xx
I feel all of that!! Gastric issues are the worst! Diagnosed with Gerd on meds from that. Can no longer have Chocolate or coffee. Cut alot of sugar and Salt out. Sinuses are horrible. I just had to see ent for dizziness and a full feeling in ear. They removed a large piece of wax but here i am stll feeling off balance and still feel like im plugged up on the right side of my head. Can sinuses really cause dizziness? Also health anxiety through the roof. I sympathize with all you ladies this is a hell of a roller coaster..Taking everything day by day. Boy do I miss my 20s lol.
Yes sinuses can cause dizziness. I was treated for sinusitis last year, it kept coming back month after month. Saw ENT and had a head MRI scan and CT scan of sinuses Both were and all clear, which was a relief. So the problem for me isn't linked with the sinuses even though I do get pain and pressure in this area. The suggestion now is vestibular migraine, whatever it is I definitely think that it's triggered by fluctuating hormones. The first 'episode' was the week before a period and has developed from there along with other symptoms which can be explained by hormone imbalance. Have to go for balance testing soon. Health anxiety is awful and sends me round the bend at times. Keep plodding on ladies, we will get there!

Hey Finkyb,
Being here with you ladies who are dealing with it too is literally the only thing keeping me sane right now.
Like you, my cycles are super light and months between now.
I had a good few months, actually, and had a small bleed a few weeks ago and haven't been right since.
My hubs made a lovely grilled dinner last night, and with every bite, I just knew today would be... unpleasant... and I was not wrong. It's crushing~~
I am trying some over the counter things for sluggish gut right now, will see how that turns out.
I do Tums for the Gerd, since if I do the acid reducer things I have to keep doing the laxative type things (sorry tmi).
I broke down and visited the neurologist for the headaches/off balance stuff... he prescribed a migraine preventive and one to stop migraine if it breaks through the preventive. I'll pick those up at the pharmacist tomorrow.
Have you tried any tricks for relief? Any you would recommend?
Hang in there, dear. I shall try to do the same ~ thanks for the solidarity! Sara
Toria, my lovely, the pollen this year is truly the worst I have ever seen it.
Here our Spring was cool and wet so when it finally warmed up, everything bloomed all at once...
We are now in a prolonged heat wave, and so the late summer mold and pollens have joined the party.
I am wishing you a break from your symptoms and worries~~ keep us updated on how you get along.
Hugs,
Sara
Hi Renee,
Ugh, can relate to everything you said~~ just had a neurologist appt today for the headaches and vertigo. Instructed to cut the caffeine also, 2 new meds to try, and I'll let you ladies know how it goes.
I am not loving the meno brain, for real.
Hugs to you~ hope you find some easy days ahead.

Hi Sara, It's annoying isn't it, you just want to enjoy yourself but these blasted hormones want to spoil it. I'm trying to clean up my diet a bit, I don't drink fizzy, alcohol or caffeine but didn't before this started anyway. My husband gets awful acid reflux and swears by apple cider vinegar diluted in water. Works for some, not for others and warm lemon water. During my pregnancy I had awful constipation. It was so bad that a combination of 3 different types of laxative didn't touch it. The best remedy for me was syrup of figs and eating prunes as well as drinking plenty. As for the headaches, head pressure and off balance feeling I've tried Amitrityline, but the side effects made it a no go for me. However, this can be great for some. I'm having balance testing next month but have also been given two new medications to try so will report back what happens with those. I am trying to relax my mind as find the anxiety makes it worse. Not always easy though! I'm trying to keep on with daily life as best I can and not be afraid of it if that makes sense. Whilst I wouldn't wish this on anyone I'm glad to find comfort from those who understand, together ladies we will get there.

Estrogen can increase histamine and histamine increases estrogen so its a vicious circle! In peri our hormones can fluctuate wildly so we can get spikes in estrogen. Some people find cutting out gluten helps and avoiding foods high in histamine. There is a Doctor in the UK called Dr Louise Newson and she has written about this on her website. May be worth a read.

Hi Sara. Now I have to go for a balance test!! ugh. Hoping its just blocked sinuse on that side. Just started using new meds and a netti pot hoping it helps. This journey is crazy!
Hello Sara, add a probiotic and bone broth to help with your digestion. It did wonders for me. Good luck
hi sara, Hope it would comfort you to know that you are not alone. I have been having all the symptoms and more that you have mentioned. It would be a lot if I am too list everything here. For digestive issues I would highly recommend homeopathy remedies such as nux vom 30 , carbo veg 30 etc you can read up those remedies and see which one matches your symptoms and use that. I hope and pray that we all get better soon and heal completely, hugs and prayers
Good luck on the balance test! Let us know how you get along. Sara
Adding those to my grocery list right now. thank you so much! How have you been? Sara
Thank you, Priya! We have a store locally that stocks homeopathic remedies, but I hadn't had good sources on information in my group of friends and family. I will read up on these! Wishing you good days~ Sara
