just seeing how long after exposed to genital or oral herpes did you get symptons? what were they? was it from kissing, oral or sex?
mine was about 12 days after sexual contact. my first sign was what i thought was a ingrown hair that didnt hurt. i messed with it till it popped. looking back now I had more symptoms that I just was unaware of. One being extremely watery discharge. I thought I had some kind of bacterial or yeast infection. My whole vagina was red and itchy. on about day three of this I noticed a canker like sore where the original what i now know was a blister had been. at its absolute worst I could hardly walk, but from what I’ve researched I feel my outbreak was fairly mild compared to others. I only ended up with 2 blisters. I’ve read about people having as many as 30 at one time and that thought terrifies me.

Mine didn’t show up for years. I’ve been with my partner almost 7 years. We even had a baby. I was diagnosed after that. I was told that while they do an std check when you’re pregnant, they don’t test for herpes unless you have symptoms, even though it can have serious implications for the baby. My partner has had breakouts but he was misdiagnosed and given a bunch of false information about what it was. No swab was ever done on him.
about 8 months ago i broke out severly in lesions i disreguarded it thought it was from a yeast infection i had at the time and had sores i had cut myself with a razor bad so thought the yeast infected the cut i took myself to the hispital the swabbed tested for everything but no blood work was done came back negetive i slept woth somebody had sex and oral and anal literally a few weeks after i had those lesions so after going to
hospital and they told me i had nothimg i went back to my baby father im so scared i gave it to him so fast foward the 8 months last tuesday a little pimple popped up was not itchy or sore took myself back to the hospital and they swabbed me doctor broke the skin to get any liquid which was none and looked like a sore after fresh pink and does not crust over or turn yellow or green as infection would they drew blood these are my results im so scared …
