Had surgery Nov. 30/2016. It's now Aug. 19/2016. Stone was approx. 7mm. Stone was causing more pain than most people have. So I got in for surgery quite quickly. Between initial CT scan & ultrasound, urologist found it strange that stone had not really moved at all. He thought a stone of this size should pass or at least move. After surgery I had more blood, more pain than most do. They had to put me to sleep to get the stent out in emergency. In general, when I cut myself anywhere I take a long time to heal for some reason. As of now, still have symptoms - but ultrasound has confirmed I am stone free. I pee sitting down otherwise I make a mess. Pee goes in many different directions, I pee in small amounts, sometimes trickles out, and frequently. Occasionally I get sharp, pins & needles like pain in the tip of my penis or urethra. Urologist was kind of a dick to be honest, says it's not a urology problem and my family doctor needs to investigate further. But I know he didn't like me and was stereotyping me the day I wore a "Crooks & Castles" shirt. I'm 28. When I was talking to him kept seeing him glaring at my shirt. Question is, how long can it possibly take for my insides/urethra to heal? I have noticed as time has gone by I feel better and better the slightest bit, with less sharp dull pains. It's not intense pain, more of a sensation when I do get pins and needles. But it's been 9 months and I don't feel 100% like I did before the original stone and surgery. Any help would be appreciated.
I should note that I do believe this is a urology problem and that my urologist just didn't like me. I have never in my entire life had bad vibes with a doctor like I did with this one.
