How long did it take for your symptoms to improve and completely dissappear once people went gf?

I am interested in knowing how long it took for symptoms to improve and dissapear once people went gf. Wondering when I might feel 'normal' again! Am recently diagnosed and gf for a few weeks.

I remember it being about 3 months for me. It wasn’t so much as noticing symptoms had gone more the fact that I was going to the toilet normally and remember thinking “this is what normal people experience” then I realised that I no longer was experiencing nausea and had more energy and clearer thinking

Hi there. I was diagnosed in 1998 and was told by the consultant that it may take 6months depending on the damage. I felt some improvement as soon as I was GF but think I felt 100% in about 3 months. Probably different for everyone. Hope that helps

Thanks all. Really appreciate the info. Doc said 6 months or so but really wanted a personal experience who have been through the same. Can't wait to feel better! Cheers
