Very anxious person here.. I had a blood test yesterday morning ( early 08:50AM) for a full blood count as I have health anxiety and since losing a close relative to Leaukemia scared I have the disease as I have felt dizzy and suffered with bleeding gums etc. I have two questions:
- How long does it take to get the results if a problem or abnormality is detected??
- When I had my blood taken and she inserted the needle into my vein.. blood started to run down my arm and inside the tube. she asked if i take any blood thinners or if im on any medication or taken any asprin or ibruprofine. This worried me as Im now worried I bleed easy ( another symptom of Lukemia. ) After the test she wiped my arm the bleeding stopped and I was sent on my way but this has never ever happened to me before during a blood test???
Obviously I am going out of my mind with worry and very anxious here.
