Hello, I'm suspecting I have HIV, i've gotten tested, but it was one month after the exposure, so the test was negative and I have to wait for at least a month or three months to retake the anti-bodies test. I suspect that I got infected because I've had some of the symptoms of the acute stage. I was exposed in early June. I've gotten a cold a few days ago and I think i might have vaginal yeast infection as well. Could that be due to the HIV weaking my immune system, or are two months not long enough for Hiv to weaken the immune system? Thank you so much for answering :)
I’m sorry to hear this, I know you can get accurate results 3 months after infection. But I don’t know when it begins to lower your immune system, I’d recommend taking supplements, eating healthy and maintaining a healthy sleep pattern just to keep your immune system in good shape. All the best
