I just came off omeprazole 2 days ago been on them 2-3 weeks coz of side effects and still feeling gassy feeling in sides and stomach. Does anyone encounter this? How long does it take to go away? How do you get rid of gassy pains?
Not sure if I had any side effects coming off Lansoprazole, you could try some baking soda, a half to a full teaspoon in a glass of water. This neutralises acid, and is good for hearburn. Gives a nice alkaline balance.
Even when I am on the meds I still get gassy pains,watch what you eat.
