How long does the effects of adrenaline last from a panic attack?

I’ve been having panic attacks almost daily. I have an obsession checking my heart and fear that something bad will happen (hypochondriac). After the panic attack or generalized high anxiety, my resting heart rate stays high 95–110 for hours which spins me into more panic. Is this normal?

WHen I first developed anxiety my concerns were of my heart! I had heaviness, pains, left arm numbness and I thought I was having a heart attack at 20 years old, I wasn't I was having anxiety! I now have hypochondria and I worry myself physically sick!! It's an awful thing to have! Your not alone! Chest pain and discomfort is so common in anxiety!

I also used to check my pulse constantly and scan my whole body for new symptoms!

Your fear will bring on more panic.  The brain thinks you are in danger and shoots out more adrenaline to protect you, causing increased heart rate.  You have to acknowledge your symptoms calmly and let them be.  Anxiety symptoms cannot hurt you even though they feel weird.

Go to you tube, search for Panic Attack Emergency.  Use earbuds and listen.

Or search for Mindfulness Meditations.  They are great and calm you down and teach you how to manage them!!

I was able to reduce my symptoms by 95% using meditations and learning breathing techniques.
