How long for excess skin to shrink?

I had a hydrocelectomy 6 days ago and I have a lot of skin hanging due to one of the hydrocele being the size of an avacado before surgery.

I am wondering how long I can expect for the skin to shrink in to cover the testicle?

 To completely heal about three months or more

Mine went back to a resonable size after about 2 months but the testical is still large so possibly it may go down a bit more when I get that sorted out. Been called back by the surgeon after having an ultrasound a couple of weeks ago. Will see what happens.

Hi there. Had same surgery about 3 weeks ago. Same as you there is excess skin . Has yours shrunk back to normal?
