I have been taking 50mg of Sertraline for a couple of years, but recently have been suffering from really low mood so my doctor has increased this to 100mg.
When I started on 50mg I (thankfully) bypassed all of the awful side effects listed in these forums and at exactly 3 weeks it was like someone flicked a switch, anxious to not anxious (clouds part, choirs sing etc)
My question is, how long I should expect for the increased dose to take effect? Unsure if this is likely to take 3 weeks as before, or if this would be sooner? If anyone has any experience of this that they can share, and also if I can expect the increased dose to have such an impact as the 50mg (I know I am probably just being hopeful), then I would be grateful.
