How long will it take for the duodenal bulb return to normal form?

I have heard if the deformity of duodenal bulb has occurred, it will remain for life. How true is this? If I take antibiotics for the next six months, can the duodenal bulb return to normal form?

I believe so, 6 months is a long time, for any type of issue.
