My GP refer me to Surgeon since i did a endoscopy i am still waiting for their call to meet with surgeon it has been 3 weeks already i cannot work due to painful and i want to get everything settle and get on right track .
It took me 6 weeks to meet with the surgeon and then another 3 months for the surgery. Just had it done today.
It depends where in the country you are. After my MRI scan I waited 2 weeks to see the surgeon and another 8 weeks for the operation.
Depends what country you're in and the length of the respective waiting lists. From start of my symptoms to the operation took 7 months, I'm in the UK. Now recovering and hoping to finally get my life back on track in a few weeks.
I am in the Uk, was 2 months to see the consultant, then I waited 7 months for the op (still not had it) and now I have moved areas, I have to start all over again, sorry it not a quick process :-(
