it seems to me that some of the ladies on this forum could do a better job than the IT people .

i am just pleased that we are all not giving in , and keep communicating with each other

Don’t know how much they get - but given what most IT people get I bet it isn’t a pittance. Though if it is like the NHS IT mess, they paid peanuts and got monkeys…

I tell you what though: it’s time we all got some rewards for monitoring the mess!!!

I so agree. I am now over-excited that at last the punctuation has been sorted so we don’t have to labour over each message. Phew - I feel my muscles unclenching already. Good health to all and keep away from the snow!

I am of the fairer gender myself but would like to suggest that it isn’t just the ladies who are helping sort out the IT issues :rofl::rofl::rofl: just saying in a hopefully light-hearted way!

I deal with IT people handling a website of mine and its a pain in the arse. Most is done on their time, not when i need it! I understand the frustration. I had a news crew come out and do a wonderful video of a project of mine only to have their IT people reformat their Facebook and lost it! I’m still hanging in there for you, you’ve been a great help to me

I do not come on here regularly any more so I do miss out on some knowledge. I am not up to date with the IT mess, but I do like your little ‘guys’. (pred head, cant think what they are called). I do hope they will include them, as sometimes I like to point out that what I am saying is in a lighthearted way. As we are all dealing with negative problems, our text alone can sometimes sound grimmer than it is actually meant to be.
Thankyou to all you wonderful fellow sufferers who are persevering with positive ways to sort the system.

If you use a colon and bracket you can make a happy or sad face depending on which bracket you use. :slight_smile: :frowning:
The fact that the tecchies in charge of this site cannot deal with punctuation and emojiis is absurd. I keep banging on about it because polymyalgia is such a debilitating illness and not being able to type freely when stressed can be the last straw. They are losing people from the site and they deserve to. Apart from that, have a good day! Rant over. :slight_smile: :slight_smile: :). Ps. A semi colon and bracket is a wink :wink:

I WAS WRONG!!! Sorry if I raised your hopes! Same old punctuation problems - simplest issue to resolve and obviously the last on the list!

They were told a couple of months ago and were to sort it out. But other things were prioritised over the forums. Which I think shows how little they think of us.
