I was just recently diagnosed with genital herpes and I’m scared about having frequent outbreaks. I’ve heard the first year is typically the worst but a year is a long long time. I’d rather not take medication every day. How often was everyone’s outbreaks in the first year? Does it actually get better as the years go by? did you antivirals everyday?
