Well I've been given some banana medicine by the doctors instead of the huge antibiotic pills, I finally went for a poo without having to use laxatives (and there was a lot of it!) that's got the be the first time in about three years!
I'm feeling soooo much better! Still early days but I'm starting to do light duties around the house like washing up, tidying the toys away. Still on my sleeping pills but apart from that, I feel good.
Think I started my period, heavy bleeding with belly ache, also I notice if I'm stood up for too long, I get the pullin down below which frightens me.
Remember to take it easy!! Rest, no lifting, bending etc. rest!! Recovery will not be instant but progressive. Rest!! Off feet!! I'm 10 weeks now from bladder prolapse and uterus removal and I'm not 100% but I'm must better. I'm doing most of the things I used to do but I won't lift heavy items, and I won't do high pact exercise. I'm cautious and I listen to my body. Want complete recovery and will do whatever it takes to get there. Blessings to you!!
Hi I go to the loo ok..but without sounding silly it could do with being a lot softer..it just seems to be a struggle at first..it's not to bad today..why are you taking sleeping pills..? And what did you have done and when..sorry for the 20 questions
That's good news especially now you can safely take some antibiotics. Banana flavoured is usually Amoxicillin so that probably helped you to have your bowels opened as well. Remember not to overdo things though.
I am now 4.5 weeks post anterior prolapse repair. Have been lucky as my husband is home with me as he took early retirement last year. He has been doing the house work and cooking bless him. My problem has been with tenderness in my vulva area. Have been prescribed oestrogen cream for two weeks and seems to be helping a bit. Will be off from school for 12 weeks as heavy job in the art department.
Hi I had had a posterior repair on the 22nd Dec I'm doin ok..apart from little worried because it feels a bit strange down below sometimes especially when I need a poo..like there's something there.
Hello debra. Sometimes the stitches do take some time to come out but very often you don't know they have. I didn't know when my came out. They are dissolving stitches and often they do just that.........dissolve.
