How to be dizzy and alone?

I'm alone from 6 am to 4 pm everyday.

Today I woke up feeling exceptionally dizzy and as usual I'm alone. Being strong is too much sometimes and it's getting to me. My fear of passing out increases 10 fold and then the anxiety fuels it which is a bad combination.

The only time I feel at ease is when lying in bed but I'm human and have to eat and use a bathroom so I have to get up.

Does anyone have any advice or tips of how to be dizzy and alone? What do you tell yourselves? How do you get through it?

Thank you.

Hello

When I have had my episodes and I am alone, I have placed an ice pack in back of my neck and on my chest. Not only does it help me with the dizziness but it also helps with the panic attacks .

Have you been to see an ENT? Physical therapy helps a great deal as well.

Hope You Feel Better. 🌞

Yeah I was diagnosed with Menieres and BPPV. I'm in therapy now.

I usually use a cold wash cloth. I'll try the ice pack too, thanks!

I have BPPV as well and my therapist have dine the epley maneuver a few times and I have normal days now just some off balance issues.

It does get better ☺

I live alone too.  When I have episodes I just move very slowly and use the walls for support if I need to.  The worst thing you can do is panic. Tha makes it worse.  Just tell yourelf it is temporary and it will pass. I have also found that doing the half somersault manuver at home works well for me.

Mine is more like I feel off/dizzy/unbalanced for days instead of it being episodic.

I use the walls too. Stills scary tho ya know? Ugh. I hate vertigo.
