How to explain those results?

Hi all! Hope you’re doing better! Im having heart symptoms which three cardilogist relate with anxiety for almos 2 years now! Ive been to er houndrets of times and always my ekg were not normal but when i was referd for further tests like ultrasound of heart, holter monitor, event monitor,ct scan of heart with contrast everything come back normal! Now how do i need to feel about , because me ekg are abnormal but the doctor said that its just the way how your ekg have always been! Just so woried that smth is really wrong with my heart

Hi aria,

You are in good company here, many of us have dealt with similar scenarios. I can go back to day one of my anxiety when the doctor was consulting another doctor and said my EKG was abnormal. I have had several after that were normal and abnormal. Many things can cause an EKG to be abnormal. The thing is, if the EKG is abnormal to the point of an emergency they would have acted, not sent you for further diagnostics. Since you did go the route of further testing, all I have done as well except the CT scan of the heart...man, all that testing is $$$$. Those tests are meant to go deeper and look at whats happening. If they came back good, than for now, you're good. I have heard the same thing, your abnormal is your normal. Never sat with me well but its true, were complex beings. No need to waste more money on testing with what you've been through, something I tell myself constantly. Stress, anxiety, etc. can cause an abnormal reading. Something they run in 20 seconds compared to the long testing you have, I'd put my chips on the in depth test.
