I've had constant muscle tension for about two weeks now that has slowly been getting better. The problem I have is not feeling relaxed. Even when I am not anxious, my body still is tense and feels on edge. I also get annoyed by the constant rubber band feeling in my head. It's not painful, but it is uncomfortable and annoying. When I have anxious thoughts, it feels like it gets tighter. How can I alleviate this feeling? It's so annoying and makes me feel like I'm going to loose it.
Hi, I've just started CBT and one of the methods they gave me to help feel calmer is just to look at one thing in the room and concentrate on your breathing for a whole minute, it works if you're willing to give it a go.
Hey rchrbl,
Have you tried meditation ? It may sound cliché but it really helps not only your mins but your body. Yoga is said to be great to
I know how you feel, even when I'm not anxious or panicky I still get dizzy/lightheaded,I don't know how to make it go away,it even stops me from driving,so annoying
I know. Sometimes I feel so miserable. Hopefully, I find some relief.
Thank you. I will give this a try.
Sounds like tension headaches I get them often with anxiety. I have one now as a matter of fact. Constantly on edge and awaiting something that you don't know if or when it'll come.
Tea helps me and some meditation. Praying in a hot shower soothes me. Hope you feel better
