I was diagnosed with herpes 2 years ago. Did colposcopy 10 months ago and doctor said it looks like cin 2 and 3 and said I need to remove asap. I saw a picture of it and it did look unhealthy, like I could see the mosaic patterns on it. Went to another clinic and did the hpv test and the result was negative, normal Pap smear as well. Did nothing about it and recently just got tested again and the result shows that i have hpv 51.
Now my question is, how could I have cin 2 and 3 when I tested negative for hpv? And what should I do now? Pap smear? But I've read that hpv test is more accurate. Since I've done colposcopy and did the hpv test, does it makes more sense to have the Surgery now? Is it too late to try natural remedies now? I kind of feel like trying that path rather than surgery. I also think having herpes makes the chances for hpv to "clear on its own" is much lower. did some research and it's said that people with genital herpes stands 60 % more risk of getting cervical cancer not sure if the strain makes a difference. I'm so confused!
