I was diagnosed with HPV in 2019 when pregnant with my 1st child and haven’t had any symptoms or complications since diagnosis but my husband and I had sex 4 days ago and 1 day after I started experiencing intense vaginal itching that just won’t subside. Are these vaginal warts? Does my vagina look normal? Idk what a normal vagina looks like. HELP. Can’t get into the Gyno until end of May. Should I go to urgent care??
How did your discharge look like lately? I don’t see any warts. Could be a yeast infection
mine is looking the same exact way right now, not intense itching more of an uncomfortable feeling but literally looks like im looking at a picture of my vagina right now. ive never been diagnosed with hpv
Went to urgent care because I couldn’t stand the itching and that’s exactly what it ended up being, just a bad yeast infection. Thank you!
Yours might be a yeast infection, that’s what I was told mine was! Since being diagnosed with HPV I’m usually worried that any noticeable vaginal change of mind could be symptoms, but just a bad case of a Yeast Infection this time.
And to answer your question about the discharge, in retrospect it has been thick and white but the itching is far worse than anything I’ve ever experienced so I was convinced it was something more. I’ve never been more relieved to have a Yeast Infection. LOL
good to know! i got treated last week for a yeast infection but it was only with the one fluconazole pill then i started my period the day after i took it so maybe it just never went away. thank you!
