For the past week I’ve been itchy in my vaginal area, I didn’t think it was anything strange but I eventually decided to do a quick self examination to see if there was a cut or something and I noticed these strange bumps. I started googling and freaking out right away and assumed I had genital warts. I did further research in the following days and read about VP and it seemed like the pictures matched my case more. I’m 17 years old and sexually active but only with my boyfriend. We were both virgins the first time we had sex and we use protection every time. I’ve only had one other sexual encounter with a different boy who I attempted to have sex with but he had been drinking and couldn’t get it up, but his penis did come in contact with my vagina and he has a condom on. He was a virgin as well so I have a hard time thinking I could’ve contracted HPV but I’m not sure. I’m certain my boyfriend as well as the other boy had never had sex before our encounters. I told my mom and I’ll get in to see a gynecologist soon but she’s not in a rush as she doesn’t think it’s HPV but I’m not sure! I’m freaking out and it’s all I can think about. To me, the pictures look really bad. Opinions??
