Wow, not having that constant even wake me throughout the night pain is such a relief. This April 12th, get stiches out tomorrow. Tried using a cane this morning and it felt ok. Need to talk to my Dr. first. I have not felt any pain. I just two days ago stopped taking meds. The first 7-8 days I just rested. Everything I did I moved slow and listened to my body. I'm walking well with my walker yet still minimal. Miss walking and riding bike. I think I'll be back to it soon.

I agree Joe.  I am 4 weeks today, and still using crutches on walks as dr said it is best, and to use full hip movement when walking not just legs.

Getting sleep is fantastic too.

I have started with cane at times too, and no pain, but my husband is chiropractor and when watching me walk I still favor my right side without awareness, and he agrees with dr.  I should use crutches for walks until I don’t favor my surgery side as it is weeker after surgery and muscles etc all cut and stitched up, and memory of muscles  from over a year of limping around.

Want to be doing all I did before but need to heal.

Husband wants me to have shock collar to stop me as I push myself to much to soon.

We will all be back at it soon I hope.

Thanks  for posting great results.

Hi Joe,

Sounds great! Just keep listening to your body. Gently increase your walking with cane then eventually without. It will probably happen sooner than you think. Bear in mind, sometimes we can overdo it simply because we can . Make sense? I found this happened to me using the treadmill so I dialled it back a notch and rested a couple of days but kept up with my physio exercises. I think slow and steady wins the race here. You may have to wait to bike if you have 90 degree restriction rule....(BTW I'm 10 weeks post left hip. All good and happy hippy here)
