Just wondering how people are getting on with the HRT. My periods have become very irregular and every time i get one it makes me so ill. Just wondering if the HRT regulates your periods and what other positive/ negative effects everyone is having. Would you recommend it ? Any info would be much appreciated as i try to make up my mind whether its worth giving it a go or not.

I started Elleste duet but had PMT with the progesterone phase. Changed to Femoston at moment. It's trial and error I'm afraid but when you find the right one you will feel fabulous.
Hi and thanks for responding.. I started with peri type symptoms almost 5 years ago now.. started with chronic allergic reactions , burning skin, itchy all over , acne. The usaul. I had blood tests at the time that showed my hormone levels where down but my doctor never flagged it as Peri.. He just put it down to my ongoing illnesses of M.E. and POTS. Things did improve slowly and ithing about 2 years i was feeling OK.. after another year i started feeling better than i had done in years and i had 2 years of that until early 2016 i got swine flu and things went downhill from there. My periods stopped in october of last year and i became really ill.. chronic anxiety internal tremor and migraines where my worst symptoms.. also had the usual seats hot flushes joint/muscle pain etc. It had a really bad effect on my POTS and i pretty much ended up house bound for 6 months. My periods did start again after 4 months but they are now all over the place sometimes miss, then have 2 periods in a month.. sometimes its so heavy i dare not move.. then others its just spotting. Ever time i get a period it starts the really bad symptoms again.
I guess i was wondering does the HRT help regulate your periods.. i think if things where more normal then i wouldn't keep getting these huge crashes as my hormones crash and then flare up again. My symptoms are a little better than they where this time last year and its just the periods and ovulating thats all over the place that is causing all the issues.
