hello Everyone, just joined.

i am in my 3rd week of taking Elleste Duet Conti on the advice of my GP and after I finally gave in and realised I needed some help when my blood test showed a raging menopause!

also had a mire a coil for 10 years to help ease heavy periods, this came out a week after I started the HRT tablets.

within a week I was having a period.....albeit very minimal thank heavens, it has now stopped, I am bloated most of the time which is very uncomfortable and my boobs are really sore! I also still feel like I could cheerfully thump somebody!! 

Is this normal?? Anyone got any experience of this tablet? It is the type that is NOT meant to cause a period and I so wanted to feel normal again

Hi I'm on Estee solo as I've had an hysterectomy so I don't get bleeding but have had the breast tenderness but getting used to it

When you begin starting on hormones your boobs will become sore and tender, also the bloating, anxiety and just plain feeling not like youself. Hormones are VERY slow so hang in there and know at the end of the road (6-9 months in most cases) you'll feel normal again. I had a full hysterectomy so there was no bleeding."good luck"
