Hsv 1 and 2 positive ,didnt know till my wife brokeout with hsv2

I'm having trouble understanding how I'm not showing many signs ,(lord forbid) my fiancé unfortunately has broken out with Hsv2 and I have been heartbroken to think I gave this to her. Since I have hsv1and 2 and don't show signs is their any way for my fiancé to break out with both hsv 1 and 2 even if I don't show signs or symptoms .this is unreal and wake up every morning hoping it's a bad dream 😔 need help and guidance .

Yes, it's called being an asymptomatic carrier. No (recognisable) symptoms, but nevertheless infected and able to transmit during random, occasional phases of viral shedding (no symptoms required). See also my other answer to you.

Yes the virus can be passed on even if you're not having an out break and not having any symptoms is not uncommon. I was diagnosed 2 years ago and I've never had an outbreak or anything. 1 in 5 people have herpes and of those an estimated 90% don't even know due lack of symptoms.

It is much easier for a woman to contract herpes from an man than vise versa because women have more soft exposed tissue in their genital area.  In the extensive reading I have done on this topic, I have learned that it is possible for those who are positive but asymptomatic to communicate the disease which is truly disturbing. My partner of 14 years tested positive after I was diagnosed.  He never had symptoms - I on the other hand suffer with it a lot.  My heart goes out to you and I know the mental pain and anguish that accompanies this disease.
