I was told I have been tested positive for both HSV 1 and 2. I researched online and it said it is very very rare to have both. It either 1 or 2. Just found out my test result three days ago and was wondering how accurate the blood test is? I did not have any outbreaks or any symptoms for either one. So is there a possibility it could be wrong?
Hi , about 7 yrs ago i went to the gyn and got my stds test done i had no symptoms the doctor called me saying that i have been exposed to hsv1 and 2 but that i didnt have it at the moment. I was devastated bc my ex gave it to me and never told me he had it. I didnt develop any symptoms until around a yr after
.
My bf tested positive for both after I had my first outbreak. He’s never had symptoms for either. I only tested positive for HSV2 after my first outbreak. We both did the blood tests.
