Hsv 1 negative hsv 2 result 14.30 what is the meaning?

Is it possible that it is a false negative because the hsv 1 os negative even if the hsv 2 is this high (14.3) ?

It's actually very much possible. Not everyone that has HSV1 has HSV2 and vice versa

Your HSV 2 result seems really high. Also it's possible to have HSV 2 without HSV 1, since they're different viruses you'll only contract what you come into contact with. Have you had any outbreaks?

I have not had any outbreak. What does it mean to have such a high result (14.3) ?

Which test kit did they use? If HerpeSelect, that is a definite positive, and probably a relatively recent infection. Surprising you didn't have any symptoms.
