This is my first out break, third day on Valtrex, and I’m experiencing really bad nausea directly after I take the pill! Wanted to know if I’m the only one or if any of you guys have some remedies for the nausea?? Also feeling a bit of tingling throughout my body. Not sure if that’s normal but would love some advice since my doctors office is closed lol!
I honestly didn’t take the valtrex. I hate taking medicine. The only time I took it was when I was 37-40 weeks pregnant about to deliver. I don’t remember it making me nauseous. Maybe you are slightly allergic? Ginger is great for nausea though.
Hi, are you taking a gram 2x a day? When i first got mine the nausea was bad too. For me it was the high dosage and my body trying to adjust to it and the virus at the same time. Now i take 500 mg once a day to surprise the virus, with no side effects.
Yes I’m taking it twice a day! Today i tried to wait as long as possible to take my second dosage and noticed that I felt so much better before taking the pill. I’m going to call my doctor tomorrow for a new dosage because this isn’t working for me.
