hey guys i was just wondering , has anyone been with someone with hsv 1 who has not contracted it by their partner and who went down on them plenty of times and still never had hsv1 genitally. my botfriend had cold sore when he was younger and he went down on me couple times and he said he hasnt had an outbreak since 4-5 years and hes been with his ex and couple girls and never conplain about them contracting it to their genitals but i never had any symptoms of cold soree on my lips or genitals u was tested for both hsv 1/2 both negative but now im scared for my botfriend to go down on me but he said he bever had symptoms when he was with me but you never kno even tho i never had symptoms but yeah i we just wondering if anyone here have a parrner with hsv 1 and never contracted it either on lips or genitally?
i dated a girl that had that.i never got it. she gave me BJ all the time. also i dated a girl that had it on her vagina.we just couldnt have sex during outbreaks.but she very rarely had them.
you can buy dental dams which are basically a condom for oral sex on women if youre concerned. each persons experience will be different, so i dont think anyone can say youll be 100% fine. but if he hasnt had an outbreak for quite some time. then it seems as tho the risk will be low.
My ex girlfriend has HsV 1 & 2. We’ve had protected sex and she has given me oral sex multiple times. After we broke up, i was depressed and scared that i might have contrACTED it and had to live single forever or face the pain of breaking the news to a partner.
I got tested 6 months later and was negative .
