This week I get diagnosed with HSV-1 & 2. I may need to be tested again bc I never been positive before in my life. Im still confused and stresseful and I dont understsnd the test results. I had been reading reseach studies and online info about falsepositive. Can someone explain me about my test range? 20.80 ? Thanks
typically with igg testing they are very accurate. i was recently diagnosed as well, with a 4.0 for hsv igg antibodies. i have questions regarding my number as well. but, with everything ive read igg antibody testing is the most accurate. im sure i have it, just wish i knew that they could estimate how long youve had the virus based off the number, but id assume thats impossible because every body responds differently
But that number 20.80 for the HSV-2. Is not to high? and HSV-1 2.37 . I will request a 2nd test bc I can believe this results.
