How seriously should I take my HSV blood test? I took it about a month ago. My initial exposure to the virus would have been approximately 2.5 years ago. I had not heard anything, so I called the doctor today and I was informed that my blood test was negative. It is the only one I have taken. Is it okay to assume the results are accurate, or should I retest?
